  • We collect only what we need to quote, make and deliver your order and to run our website.
  • We do not sell personal information.
  • We send marketing emails only with your consent and every message includes an unsubscribe link.
  • You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, or withdraw consent, at any time.

1. Who we are

Legal business name, operating as Lead Custom Boxes Canada (“we”, “us”), is responsible for personal information we hold. This policy applies to our website, quotes, orders and communications. It is written to meet the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), QuĂ©bec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25) and other applicable provincial privacy laws.

2. Privacy Officer

We have designated a person responsible for the protection of personal information:

  • Name and title: Privacy Officer name and title
  • Email: privacy@leadcustomboxes.ca
  • Mail: Registered business address

Contact our Privacy Officer with any question, access request, complaint or concern.

3. Information we collect

  • Contact and business details: name, job title, company, email, phone, billing and shipping addresses.
  • Order information: quotes, specifications, quantities, invoices, delivery details and order history.
  • Artwork and files: logos, images and documents you upload. Please avoid including personal information of others in them.
  • Payment information: handled by our payment processors. We do not store full card numbers.
  • Communications: messages, support requests, call notes and feedback you send us.
  • Website and device data: IP address, browser, pages viewed, referring site and approximate location, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

We collect information directly from you, automatically when you use our website, and from service providers who help us operate, such as payment, shipping and analytics providers.

4. Why we use your information

  • To prepare quotes, accept and fulfil orders, and provide design, proofing and customer support.
  • To process payments, issue invoices and meet tax and accounting obligations.
  • To arrange shipping and delivery.
  • To improve our website, products and services, and to keep them secure.
  • To send marketing messages where you have consented (see section 6).
  • To comply with the law and protect our rights.

We ask for your consent where required. Consent can be express (for example, ticking a box) or, in limited cases where the law allows, implied. You can withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal and contractual limits.

5. Who we share it with

We share personal information only as needed with:

  • Payment processors and banks.
  • Couriers and freight carriers.
  • Manufacturing and printing partners that produce your order (some of which may be located outside Canada).
  • Website hosting, email, customer-service, analytics and security providers.
  • Professional advisers, and authorities when the law requires it.
  • A successor business in a merger or sale, under confidentiality obligations.

These providers may only use your information to deliver services to us and must protect it. We do not sell personal information.

6. Marketing emails and CASL

We send commercial electronic messages only if you have given express consent, or if Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) allows implied consent, such as within 2 years of a purchase or 6 months of an inquiry. Every message identifies us and includes a free unsubscribe link, and we act on unsubscribe requests within 10 business days. You can also email us to opt out.

7. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functions, preferences, analytics and, if you agree, marketing. Non-essential cookies are used only with your consent. See our Cookie Policy for details and how to change your choices.

8. Transfers outside your province or Canada

Your information may be stored or processed outside your province, including in Canada and the United States, by us or our service providers. When information is transferred outside Québec, we take steps to ensure it receives adequate protection, and we assess the privacy risks as required by law. Information in another country may be accessible to its courts, law enforcement and authorities under its laws.

9. How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above. For example, order and invoice records are kept for at least six years to meet tax and accounting requirements, and marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe or your implied consent expires. We then securely delete or anonymize the information.

10. How we protect it

We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards such as access controls, encryption in transit, secure hosting and staff confidentiality obligations. No system is perfectly secure. If a confidentiality incident presents a real risk of serious harm, we will notify affected people and the relevant privacy regulators as required by law.

11. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Withdraw your consent to our use or sharing of your information.

  • Provide your information in a structured, commonly used technological format (data portability, where it applies).
  • Tell you how your information is used and who has access to it.
